KronosWorks Las Vegas The WFC Team at KronosWorks 2014 with Kronos CEO, Aron Ain

We got back from KronosWorks 2014 last week, and as always it was a whirlwind of top notch networking opportunities, excellent speakers and fun social events! We left Vegas with plenty of insight, news and contacts in the workforce management industry. KronosWorks had more than 2,000 attendees this year, more than any conference to date!

We arrived in Vegas a few days before the conference and were proud sponsors of the Retail & Hospitality Executive Summit. Also, many thanks to the 40+ people who came to our happy hour on Tuesday night before the closing dinner. At The WFC Group booth we announced our new Engage Audit product, and we gave away Nexus 7 tablets to two lucky attendees. We were thrilled that more than 250 people came by to play our trivia game!

With respect to the rule, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, we couldn’t help but share some key takeaways we gained from the conference.

  1. Kronos - Java free! – We heard that Kronos’ newest release is in the works, and we expect to see a huge push to upgrade. The new release is expected to run even more smoothly and efficiently, and will be free of Java, which we know many of our customers will be happy about! A lot of people who stopped by our booth were deciding whether to upgrade now or wait for the new version. Feel free to message me and ask me about your particular situation!
  2. Plug-ins for Analytics- We’re seeing a big push for developing plug-ins for analytics, which Kronos has encouraged partners to contribute to. Analytics and plug-ins tend to be the most impactful in industries that have very specific, focused needs including retail and healthcare – two industries we work in frequently. Although details are still being worked out, The WFC Group is excited about the opportunity to develop additional plug-ins for Kronos in the near future. Stay tuned for updates!
  3. Workforce Ready – There has been a massive increase in small to medium sized businesses interested in Kronos Workforce Ready. We are proud to be the second Kronos partner to be accredited in Workforce Ready and so far we’ve seen big success with our clients!

I’d like to thank Kronos for putting on another informative, productive, and fun conference. Thanks to all those that stopped by the WFC Group booth to say hi. For those of you that couldn’t make it this year, I highly recommend trying to attend next year’s conference, once again being held at the ARIA in Las Vegas. The WFC Group will definitely be back for KronosWorks 2015!
