As a company with a completely remote workforce, we make an effort to bring our team members together throughout the year. We call these meetups "Connects" and use them as an opportunity to welcome our newest team members and align directly on our upcoming goals together. Getting actual face time with our remote colleagues is crucial to our company's continued growth.
Our latest Connect took our team east to lovely Boston. The agenda was filled with group working sessions, presentations from leadership & management, as well as team bonding and social events, like team dinners and a bowling competition—no bumpers. Nothing breaks down barriers between disciplines like a sixteen-pound ball and ten pins.
When it finally came time to pack up and spread back out across the states, Mother Nature surprised New England with its third nor'easter in less than two weeks. With departures delayed and roads unsafe, our Boston Connect made the most of our unplanned extension, taking even more time to bond with the team. Two feet of snow and whiteout conditions can't keep our good spirits down.
We had so much fun in Boston and can't wait to bring our team together again for the next Connect. We're feeling inspired and ready to take on the latest developments in workforce management with renewed vigor. While we may work apart, it's always great knowing we're all in this together.
One thing's for sure. The WFC Group has a lot of great things in store for the future and we couldn't be more excited to share it as a team.
