Last week we blogged about what we were up to at KronosWorks 2016. Besides giving away a $1,000 Southwest Airlines gift card, hosting a happy hour event, and our experts meeting with hundreds of attendees, we also had a few key takeaways from the conference.

Kronos Investments

During the opening session at KronosWorks, we learned that Kronos has invested more than half a billion dollars into Research & Development over the past five years. It is no surprise Kronos continues to rise to the top. Here are a few key areas of investment we heard about during KronosWorks:

The number of companies who are migrating to the Cloud continues to increase, with Kronos stating that more than 20,000 customers around the world are working in the Cloud. Here at The WFC Group we are seeing the demand as well, as plenty of companies are intrigued by the benefits including enhanced system maintenance, improved cost efficiency and automated upgrades.

Kronos recently announced their new Kronos community, a platform where Kronos customers can connect with other users, partners (like us!) and product experts to get answers to the questions they have, share ideas and complete training. This is a really exciting tool that will help us (as a partner) interact more closely with users, and connect with users who are having challenges.

One last investment is Kronos Paragon, which is aimed at streamlining the deployment of Kronos Workforce Central in the cloud. Kronos Paragon is helping organizations accelerate their time to value by an average of nearly 40 percent – very impressive.

Upgrade. Upgrade. Upgrade.

Upgrading to Kronos Workforce Central 8 was the big topic of discussion when speaking with attendees. Now on the market for about a year and a half, many enhancements have been made by Kronos since it was first introduced, and service pack 12 will be released very soon, so of course there is a lot to talk about. If you are interested in upgrading, but concerned about the headache, hassle, time & cost, contact us today to see how we can help.

And that’s a wrap for 2016. We are reminiscing about the warm weather in Orlando, and looking forward to returning to Las Vegas for KronosWorks in 2017!
