Recapping the Latest Updates to Kronos Workforce Central

Last month, Kronos announced updates and improvements to its Kronos Workforce Central Suite solutions aimed at helping HR managers stay even more on top of employee engagement trends. We’ll be sharing some updates out of KronosWorks (we’re here in Vegas as you read this!) in the upcoming weeks, but for now - here’s some benefits businesses are taking advantage of already in the Workforce Central Suite.

Dashboards and Data Visualization

The addition of advanced reporting capabilities put more power in the hands of HR to elevate employee engagement by identifying and addressing trends sooner. Workforce data from hiring and turnover to performance and compensation can be analyzed more clearly with custom dashboards and reporting that keep HR departments and managers ahead of every curve and help to guide programs to curtail any challenges to optimal employee engagement and productivity.

Improved Mobile Configurations

Offering employees remote access to key services and features can greatly improve engagement. New access profiles allow managers to define their mobile advantage based on employee location or by the type of device they are using. Scheduling, time-off requests, self service shift-swapping, missed punch alerts and time card approvals can all be switched on and off for mobile access. Additionally, module names can now be further customized to suit employer brands (e.g., Accruals can be presented as PTO, Time-Off, etc.).

Expanded Language Support

With the addition of Hindi and Czech language support, Workforce Central now supports 18 total languages, allowing global companies to provide greater accessibility. More than 600 million people speak Hindi as a primary or secondary language, making this a highly valuable tool to engaging a global workforce. And the available translation toolkit continues to allow the platform to be translated into additional languages.
